Just a few quick updates from the Better Butchers team.
We've had a busy summer as we continue to roll out our line of plant-based ground meat to retailers across British Columbia.
New Product Development
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Instagram poll and emailed us suggestions for new products. We are happy to confirm that "The Beast" will be making a return this holiday season. We are also working on burgers and a few other goodies for next year.
CHFA East
We will be attending the CHFA East tradeshow in Toronto in September. This is a great opportunity to introduce the brand to more retailers from outside of B.C. We are also in the process of getting listed with a distributor to cover the rest of Canada.
US Expansion
We recently completed the Trade Accelerator Program through the World Trade Centre of Vancouver.
We were able to make direct connections with AgriFood, Export Navigator, BDC, the BC government, RBC, and KPMG and are being considered for future Trade Comissions. We also built and Export Plan and received feedback to strengthen our business and set us up for success.
We've had significant interest from retailers in the U.S. who have reached out to us.
We are planning a careful, measured, expansion into the Pacific Northwest and California starting next year.
Vegan Night Market
